Armen Anassian holds Master's Degrees in Instrumental Conducting and Violin Performance, and studied in the United States, Armenia, and Germany. His teachers include Rainer Kussmaul, Sidney Weiss, Dorothy DeLay, and conductor Michael Zearott. Mr. Anassian has held Conducting and/or Concertmaster positions with such noted groups as the Hoboken Chamber Orchestra, Freiburg Chamber Orchestra, Heidelberg Chamber Orchestra and the Zelt Musik Festival Orchestra. In Los Angeles he has been Concertmaster/Guest Concertmaster with Pacific Symphony, Santa Barbara Symphony, California Philharmonic, Pasadena Pops, Burbank Symphony, Riverside Philharmonic, Inland Empire Symphony, Long Beach Symphony, Glendale Symphony, Symphony in the Glen and the Los Angeles Opera. Mr. Anassian has performed hundreds of concerts in France, England, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, China, India, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Canada, Mexico, and all over the United States. He was invited to perform the Khachaturian Violin Concerto in Armenia with the Armenian National Philharmonic. When their record company, MGM, went bust, Poet & The One Man Band were forced to fold - later surfacing as Heads Hands & Feet. Jerry Donahue and Pat Donaldson were replaced by Albert and Chas Hodges, who had been collaborating on a Lee solo album for Bell. (Only a single came out: That's Alright Mama/The Best I Can, on U.S. Bell). Their self-titled debut album 'Heads Hands & Feet' (Island ILPS - May 71), featured the original version of the now classic "Country Boy". Co-written with band members Tony Colton and Ray Smith, it was a showcase for Albert's dazzling picking style. Two albums followed – 'Tracks' (Island ILPS - Mar 72), and 'Old Soldiers Never Die' (Atlantic K - Jan 73). The band did get to tour the U.S. but as the last LP's title implies, a sense of frustration had set in over the group's lack of acceptance; they disbanded before its release.

If you have a professional/semi-pro website for your musical endeavors, what do you put in that biography?I ask because I've noticed wildly divergent biography contents in both amateur and professional biographies in my current city, both in paper programs and online.
It is my understanding that in a pro or semi-pro resume, only college-and-beyond education, and post-college professional experience is mentioned. Your childhood local competitions won (unless you did something like win the Junior Menuhin), the middle school youth symphony you were the concertmaster of, your Juilliard Pre-College, your (non-famous) pre-college teachers, your attendance at teenage music camps, etc. are generally not mentioned. The biography similarly follows the items on the resume.
For amateurs, it is presumably reasonable to mention your last teacher, or attendance at an arts high school / Pre-College program if you don't have college-and-beyond to mention. But you don't mention most childhood accomplis
