حضرت مجدد الف ثانی
مفکر اسلام علامہ محمد اقبال نے برصغیر کے مسلمانوں کی سیاسی اور فکری تاریخ کا تجزیہ کرتے ہوئے حضرت مجدد الف ثانی رحمۃ اللہ تعالی علیہ کو جس انداز میں خراج تحسین پیش کیا ہے اس سے واضح ہوتا ہے کہ ہندوستان میں دین اسلام کی حقانیت کو برقرار رکھنے کیلے اپکی کیا خدمات تھیں۔۔ حضرت مجدد الف ثانی رحمتہ اللہ تعالی نے برصغیر کے مسلمانوں میں اسلامی اقدار، ان کی اصل روح کے مطابق بحالی، اور اس کی حفاظت میں جو کردار ادا کیا وہ تاریخ کے صفحات میں محفوظ ہے۔ دیگر اولیاء اللہ کی طرح حضرت مجدد الف ثانی نے لومۃ لائم کے بغیر صرف اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف سے نازل کئے ہوئے احکامات کی بجا آوری اور ان کی حفاظت کے لیے لیے اپنا شاندار کردار ادا کیا۔
قدوۃ السالکین، زبدۃ العارفین، حجۃ الکاملین، حضرت سیدنا مجدد الف ثانی کا اسم مبارک احمد، لقب بدرالدین، اور کنیت ابو البرکات ہے، آپ کے دیگر معروف القابات میں قیوم زماں، مجدد الف ثانی، اور امام ربانی ہیں۔ آپ کا نسب مبارک کئی واسطوں کے بعد حضرت سیدنا عمر فاروق رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ سے جاملتا ہے۔ حضرت مجدد الف ثانی کی ولادت 4شوال ھ کو ہندوستان کے ایک مقام سرہند میں ہوئی، آپ نے اپنی ابتدائی تعلیم اپنے گھر سے حاصل کی اور قرآن کریم کو حفظ کیا۔ ابتدائی کتب کی تعلیم کے بعد منطق فلسفہ اور علم کلام میں مہارت حاصل کی۔ حضرت قاضی بہلول
