Praėję metai ejų Martynui Levickiui buvo kaip niekada dosnūs. Jis išleido naują albumą, pelnė prestižinį apdovanojimą, turėjo dešimtis koncertų visame pasaulyje, buvo pakviestas dėstyti į Londono karališkąją muzikos akademiją, o netrukus apie jį pasirodys filmas, kurį išvys ir Prancūzijos publika.
Todėl tai, kad tarptautinio pripažinimo sulaukęs Martynas kartais abejoja savimi ir jaučiasi, kaip pats sako, nepakankamas, skamba neįtikėtinai.
Kelių dešimčių kvadratinių metrų kambarėlyje sostinės Senamiestyje, prietemoje, degant žvakėms Martynas valandų valandas kantriai zulina naujus kūrinius būsimiems pasirodymams. Po 4–6 valandas – tiek akordeonistas repetuoja kasdien. BR-KLASSIK: Martynas Levickis, Sie nennen Ihr Instrument, das Akkordeon, einen Zauberkasten. Warum?
Martynas Levickis: Das Instrument ist so vielseitig. Es ist in so vielen Ländern auf der Welt beliebt. Und jetzt, im Jahrhundert, wird es auch in der klassischen Musik mehr und mehr wahrgenommen. Und ich bin stolz darauf, ein Botschafter des Akkordeons zu sein und es auf die großen Bühnen zu bringen.
Ich muss mein Instrument immer wieder unter Beweis stellen. Das ist auch mein Antrieb.
