Huibert leads an organization of over 30, employees across Shell’s Mobility, Lubricants, Trading & Supply, Chemicals & Products, Low Carbon Products and Renewables & Power businesses. Its teams are at the forefront of serving 33 million customers a day at 46, service stations and partnering with 1 million business customers across countries. Under Huibert’s leadership, his organization has achieved significant milestones in gender diversity. Currently 45% of senior leaders are women, including top roles in Chemicals and Products, Low Carbon Solutions and within Shell Trading. His commitment to diversity is also reflected in Shell’s global customer marketing campaigns demonstrating gender equality and women in leadership. In doing so, Huibert ensures that Shell leads by example, fostering an inclusive environment for all. Shell plc announces changes to the Executive Committee
London – Huibert Vigeveno, Downstream, Renewables and Energy Solutions Director, and a member of the Executive Committee since 1 January , will step down after 30 years of distinguished service, effective 31 March , to pursue other opportunities.

Royal Dutch Shell plc has announced the appointment of Huibert Vigeveno as Downstream Director with effect from January 1,
In his new role, Vigeveno will become a member of the Executive Committee and will succeed John Abbott. John will remain available to Vigeveno and the Executive Committee to assist with the transition until March 31, , and will then leave the company after 38 years’ distinguished service.
